Our horseback riding lessons are aimed at supplying riders the necessary information on how to have fun in a safe way with a horse.

Our lessons are offered to all, either as a pastime, a relaxation moment, for improvement or just to satisfy your passion for horses..

1-hour course schedule

• Preparation of the horse: brush, clean, saddle, bridle
  
  
• Practice the mounting techniques (in the ring) and/or practice the riding techniques
  
  
• Theory (psychology, equipment, hippology
  
  

Our lessons are offered in small groups, according to the rider’s level.

Rates (+  taxes ):

10-course session of 1 hour in groups of 4 to 6 persons:  $450/pers.

Individual lessons:   $65/pers./hour, minimum of 2 persons, maximum of 6 pers

Private lessons with Jacques:   $100/hr/pers.

Objectives of  the horseback rider, level 1
- Basic knowledge of hippology

- Grooming

- Knowledge of the essential elements of riding equipment

- Mounting techniques:

• Handling of the horse
  
  
• Harness, saddle, bridle
  
  
• Mounting and dismounting
  
  
• Posture
  
  
• Natural positions, actions of the hands and legs, know how to ride using the correct postures in an acceptable position. Stopping and backing up.
  
  
• Acquire a good experience in mounting in variable terrains.
